Description
Towell is accompanied by musicians and friends that include Jeff Bird of the Cowboy Junkies; Mike Stevens, who was a regular contributor to the Grand Ole Opry; Anne Lindsay who tours with Blue Rodeo and Jim Cuddy; Gwen Swick of Quartette, and many others.
The anthology includes field recordings made in Afghanistan, the Gaza Strip, and the Pine Ridge Sioux Indian Reservation amongst other locations around the world, mixed with his arrangements and lyrics.
He dedicates this work to the photojournalists who continue to go out into the world and get their hands dirty.
