The story of the development and design of the 35mm Summicron is an intricate part of the story of Leica. Up to seven different versions have been made over its 60 year history on two sides of the Atlantic. This is the third compilation of the lens. While it does not command the nickname of King of Bokeh like the fourth version, I can assure you that this six elements design will produce sharp and creamy textured pictures on film and digital M cameras.
 

The compact ultimate classic 35 cron is in excellent condition physically and optically. The lens just came back from a complete CLA. Clean optics, focus and aperture rings are firm and smooth. It’s a beautiful classic Leica lens to own and use over a lifetime.
