Thumbs Up is a highly unusual line of camera grips that provides security, comfort and stability to Leica M rangefinders, and now, to the Leica X1! The machined brass is finished to the highest standard and the fit to the camera body is about as good as it gets.
The CSEP-2 grip attaches via the hot shoe without sacrificing hot-shoe operation or interfering with the use of an accessory optical viewfinder. By resting your right thumb against the grip as if you were holding a manual 35mm-film camera, the 22º angle of the thumb-grip surface evenly distributes pressure and noticeably enhances the handling of the X1.
