Description
The APO-LANTHAR 35mm F2 Aspherical II is an extremely high-performance manual focus semi-wide angle lens that covers full frame.
The apochromatic design thoroughly eliminates any aberration on axis including chromatic aberration, while pursuing ultimate performance in terms of resolution and contrast reproducibility. (*Ref. to MTF chart).
Constructed with 11 elements in 9 groups. It has five abnormal partial dispersion elements, two elements each with two aspherical surfaces, and floating elements for sharper close ups.
The 35mm APO-LANTHAR boasts a performance among the sharpest Voigtländer lenses ever produced with its ability to produce outstanding images from a minimum focusing distance of 0.27m to infinity without aberrations.
