Description

The NOKTON D23mm F1.2 Aspherical is a fast interchangeable lens for APS-C size (Nikon DX format) mirrorless cameras with the Nikon Z mount.

The latest optical system with one double-sided aspheric lens and two abnormal partial-dispersion glass elements in a 6-group, 10-element lens construction provides a large aperture of F1.2 with excellent resolving power from the maximum aperture.

Designed exclusively for the Nikon Z mount
Its optical design is optimized APS-C size (Nikon DX-format) mirrorless cameras for which the Nikon Z mount has been adopted. This lens has an APS-C size (Nikon DX-format) image circle, and can be used by setting the camera's imaging range to DX-format when using it on a full-frame camera (Nikon FX-format body) by manually.

Information communication with the body by electronic contacts
This lens is equipped with electronic contacts and realizes communications between the lens and the body. In addition to Exif information and in-body image stabilization (3 axes), by combining with a body compatible with communications and the latest firmware, three types of focusing support functions are supported.

Manual focus for reliable focus operation
By adopting an full-metal helicoid unit processed and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces an appropriate torque, focusing with a smooth operation feeling is realized. It enables fine focus adjustment.

Beautiful bokeh by 12 aperture blades
A 12-blade aperture is used to make the holes formed by the blades closer to a circle. The out-of-focus part has a natural depiction, and the point light source is not a polygon but a round and soft bokeh.

Minimum focusing distance 0.18m
Close-up magnification of 1:4.9 (full-frame equivalent 1:3.3) is achieved. The close-up effect makes large bokeh that expands the possibilities for shooting with a wide-open aperture to take advantage of the bokeh effect.

Compact and lightweight
Despite its large diameter, it has a filter diameter of φ46 mm, a total length of 45.2 mm, and a weight of 240 g, making it compact and easy to handle. The barrel design combines a nostalgic appearance reminiscent of “the good old days” with functionality that improves the feeling of manual operation.
